Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing, accessing, or using any Visualab AI product — including the toolsmith Chrome extensions (DM Craft, TabMind) and the websites at visualab-ai.com — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. Description of service

Visualab AI provides AI-powered Chrome browser extensions under the toolsmith brand. Extensions are provided as-is under a freemium model: core features are free; additional Pro features are available via paid subscription processed through ExtensionPay and Stripe.

3. Account and subscription

• Free features require no account.
• Pro features require a Google account linked through ExtensionPay to verify subscription status.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. If you have a dispute, contact hello@visualab-ai.com.
• Prices may change with 30 days' advance notice to active subscribers.

4. Permitted use

You may use our services for personal or commercial purposes, provided you do not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our extensions.
• Use the services to generate spam, harass others, or violate any third-party platform's terms (including LinkedIn's Terms of Service).
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to Pro features.
• Use automated scripts to circumvent usage limits.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service infrastructure.

5. Third-party platforms and AI APIs

Some extensions interact with third-party platforms (e.g., LinkedIn). Use of our extensions does not exempt you from those platforms' terms of service. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable platform policies.

AI generation features rely on third-party AI APIs (e.g., Anthropic Claude). AI-generated content is provided "as-is" for your review. You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated content before use.

6. Intellectual property

All toolsmith extension code, designs, trademarks, and website content are the property of Visualab AI. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

Content you generate using our tools (DM drafts, tab summaries, etc.) belongs to you.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Visualab AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the services at any time for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the services at any time by uninstalling the extensions and cancelling your subscription.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, or as required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
